The Manitou Stone fell from the sky, years ago where it was found by Flying Stag, an Iroquois warrior.
It granted him superhuman gifts, enhanced strength, speed and senses, transforming him into Super-Chief.
It was passed down through the generations until it came to Jon Standing Bear who became Super-Chief and briefly joined the Justice League of America.
But he was killed by Skeets shortly after and on his way to the afterlife, Flying Stag took the Stone from him and gave it to Elongated Man instead.
