New Moon is a short sword, forged of Brightmetal by the half-elf/half troll smith Two-Edge. It come to the elves through Bearclaw,the Wolfrider "Blood of Nine Chiefs", who won the sword from the trolls while gambling. The sword passed onto his son, Cutter Kinseeker, upon Bearclaw's death. Hidden within the hilt of the sword is the key to Two-Edge's armory.
