A traditional Okinawan weapon consisting of two sticks chained together, the Nunchaku or nunchuks are a complicated weapon to wield.

Overview
Contrary to popular belief, the Nunchuk is not a Japanese weapon, it was not developed by villagers to be used against the Samurai or the Ninja, nor did either group use it. The Nunchuks was a not a wildly used or popular weapon as it was ineffective against the most widely used weapons of the time such as the Katana and the Naginata.
