Hanging in the back of the Detroit comic shop Comic Planet, they were grabbed by Katie Carva to defend herself from criminals. They turned her into a costumed vigilante and let her see the unseen world of the Glarkians. The blades appear to her everytime Glarkians are nearby. They even talk to her to destroy the vampires. They feed off the destruction of the Glarkians, enhancing Vampblade's powers even further. They are made of Anti-Zarian metal.
