Origin

On Earth 001/Loomworld, a nexus of the Marvel Multiverse once home to numerous gods. The elder goddesses Gaea and Oshtur tasked their daughters Shathra and Neith with creating a means of mapping and monitoring the Multiverse. Shathra designed a crude construct she called the Great Hive, while Neith produced an intricate network she dubbed the Great Web. Gaea and Oshtur chose Neith's design, which was woven and maintained by the Spider-Totems.

Capabilities

Cosmic Awareness: The Great Web can allows individuals to see events occurring throughout the Multiverse. The Web of Life is the source of Madame Web's precognition, as well as the precognitive "Spider-Sense" ability exhibited by various totemic avatars.

Dimensional Travel: As The Master Weaver, Karn was able to create a sort of inter-dimensional portal that connected to the various alternate reality and sent people to another reality.

Reality Manipulation: Master Weaver can warp reality by shifting strands of the Great Web. Karn has demonstrated this ability when he isolated Earth-77013 from the Web of Life and Destiny to its own pocket dimension. As the Patternmaker, Mayday can read the connections of the Web of Life and forge them into something stronger, such as using them to create mystical armor for herself and others made from the Web's threads.
