Agnes Garbowska was born in Poland and came to Canada when she was four years old. Being an only child she escaped into a world of books, cartoons, and comics. Agnes works on her own creator owned series: You, Me and Zombie, Imagination Stations and the web-comic Waking Up Abbey Web Comic, she also had work on Girl Comics for Marvel.

Agnes later starting working for IDW doing work on the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic series. She started doing covers for the series and eventually progressed to doing issues.
