Anton Caravana was a renowned artist and illustrator in the Philippines working for Filipino comics companies. He came to the attention of Nestor Redondo who invited him to join an all Filipino "studio" which created work for comic companies in the United States. It was at this time that he began working for Warren Publishing.

His career was cut short in April 1981 when he was killed in an accident in his native Philippines.
