Weldele attended the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sequential art. Weldele has worked in a number of different genres including superheroes, crime, and science fiction. His most notable works are Two Roads Diverge and The Surrogates. He also pencilled Shot Callerz, Julius, Couscous Express, and the Craptacular B-Sides. He is currently working on a project for Markosia Comics called Silent Ghost.

Aside from the books, he also creates promotional artwork for film festivals and events which cater to comic book audiences. He has a keen interest music technology, and likes to spend his free time experimenting with it.

He currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
