Dave Wachter is an American comic artist who graduated at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
He began his career in 2004 when he and writer Jim Clark teamed up for their critically acclaimed self published series Scar Tissue. Following that success, they once again collaborated on the epic Western web-comic The Guns of Shadow Valley, which was nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic and a Harvey Award for Best Online Work. To finish this comic and publish it as a hardcover graphic novel, The Guns of Shadow Valley is now a Kickstarter project.
