Creating One Piece
Eiichiro Oda's artwork and storytelling are inspired by Akira Toriyama, who wrote Dragonball. Oda is a big fan of Toriyama and one of his most important achievements was an interview with his idol. They also worked together for creating a cross-over between the Dragon Ball charakters and the One Piece characters. Oda's work is also influenced by the anime series "Vicky the Wiking". The series shows a little viking, who is not bold and strong, but usually is the one, who helps his tribe by using his brain. This series also caused Eiichiro's admiring of see-travelling cultures.
