Electric Crayon was a digital coloring company started by Steve Buccellato, Marc Siry and Douglas Rosen in Los Angeles in 1992. It shared the same space as Richard Starking's new comic Comicraft at the same time. Unfortunately, Electric Crayon went out of business in 1994 when Buccellato and Siry went on to create a content company called Mad Science Media.
Electric Crayon held contracts with a number of comic companies during its run, including DC, Marvel, Bongo, and Penthouse.
