Eric Kripke is a native of Ohio. His resumes includes being the creator, director and a producer for the TV show "Supernatural" which now runs on the CW network, formerly WB.
He has stated that he had the first five seasons of Supernatural planned out while the show was still in its first season.
He also wrote the screenplay and co-produced the 2005 film, Boogeyman among others. In an interview with TV Guide, he described his family as close and states that his work is not the product of a disturbed childhood.
