Current Work

Fred Van Lente launched the current Archer & Armstrong series for Valiant Entertainment and is writing a number of Brain Boy mini-series' for Dark Horse Comics.

Previous Work

Van Lente is the co-creator, along with artist Ryan Dunlavey, of Evil Twin Comics, which published Action Philosophers. His Marvel work includes co-authoring Incredible Hercules with Greg Pak, as well as writing Marvel Zombies 3, Marvel Zombies 4 and two one-shots as part of Marvel Zombies Return. Van Lente has also written the first issue of Deadpool Team-Up and the Dark Reign mini series All-New Savage She-Hulk.

Van Lente created a new Power Man, Victor Alvarez, who first appeared in the Shadowland: Power Man mini-series, followed by a new Power Man and Iron Fist series, also by Van Lente. He has also written a number of issues of The Amazing Spider-Man.

Other Media

Van Lente's book Cowboys & Aliens was turned into a big budget movie of the same name, starring Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig. He is also the co-author, alongside Greg Pak, of the book Make Comics Like The Pros.
