Herb Trimpe was a legendary Silver Age artist best known for his work in the 1970s on The Incredible Hulk. He was the co-creator of Wolverine.

Herb Trimpe is known for his long run on The Incredible Hulk (issues #106-193), and being the co-creator (with John Romita and Len Wein) of Wolverine.
As a Marvel mainstay, he has drawn nearly all of the company's major characters, such as Captain America, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Nick Fury, Thor, Captain Britain, The Defenders, and Spider-Man. Trimpe later moved onto licensed movie and TV franchises such as G.I. Joe, Transformers, Godzilla and Shogun Warriors. He recently pencilled BPRD: The War on Frogs for Dark Horse and remained a fan favorite until his death on April 13, 2015.
