Ian is probably best recognised for his work on British anthology titles 2000ad and the Judge Dredd Megazine, where he has created and scripted:

• American Gothic (with Mike Collins)
• Ampney Crucis (with Simon Davis)
• Detonator X (with Steve Yeowell)
• Interceptor (with Steve Pugh)
• Leviathan (with D'Israeli)
• Stickleback (with D'Israeli)
• Stone Island (with Simon Davis)
• The Red Seas (with Steve Yeowell)

For Dark Horse he has written Aliens, Terminator, Predator and Xena.

For Marvel he has scripted (with Dan Abnett) Seeker and Star Trek: The Early Voyages.
