John Barrowman portrayed the supporting character of Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who series, but the popularity of the character lead him getting his own TV-series in Torchwood. The character has also been adapted into comics with multiple appearances in mini-series.

Barrowman plays the dark archer Malcolm Merlyn in the Arrow TV-series, and later crossed over into other series like Legends of Tomorrow.
