Maxim Šimić

The first comic published by Croatian artist Maxim Šimić was in 2009, in Darko Macan's Sergej Strip. The next few years Maxim collaborated with Darko on weekly football comic strips for Croatian newspapers and a few other projects. After that he worked with writer Miki Horvatić on a graphic novel "Sophie", published in Croatia by Bookglobe, in 2014. In 2012/2013 he drew Denizens, a comic series written by Miki Horvatić for the British comic anthology Strip Magazine. In 2015 Maxim drew the album Jednajasterac (Penalty Kick) written by Davor Špišić, for Strip Revija.
In 2015/2016 he would work for BOOM! Studios and providing interior art for eight issues of Escape From New York, and co-created "Worlds Apart" with John Arcudi, published in Dark Horse Presents.
