Otto Oscar Binder worked in comics for 30 years, from 1939-1969. He began writing in collaboration with his brother Earl under the pen name 'Eando Binder'. He wrote numerous science fiction stories, including 'I, Robot' for Amazing Stories Magazine before he began writing for the comics. Binder worked for Fawcett, Timely, Quality, MLJ, Gold Key, and D.C. comics. The bulk of Golden Age comic adventures of Blackhawk, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doc Savage, The Shadow, and Superman, were written by Binder.
