2000AD

Pat Mills created 2000AD in 1977 and throughout the years has continued to develop his own established characters (Slaine - ABC Warriors - Bill Savage) as well as creating new ones (Greysuit - Finn).

Although he has worked on many of the thrills for the weekly 'progs' his largest contributions have been dedicated to a select few Mills creations:

  • A.B.C. Warriors
  • Defoe
  • Finn
  • Flesh
  • Greysuit
  • Invasion! (a story from Prog 1 that continued decades later as Savage)
  • Nemesis the Warlock (and Torquemada)
  • Slaine (a long running fantasy saga that started in the early 1980s)
  • Visible Man

Charley's War

Pat Mills is also the creator and writer of the all-time classic Charley's War (illustrated by Joe Colquhoun) that ran in Battle (and was later reprinted in Eagle when the two comics merged).
