Renato Guedes started his career in 1998, doing illustration for a religious publishing house. In the next year he worked in the studio of Fabrica de Quadrinhos (Brazil), where he did publicity illustrations and storyboards. In 2000, as Freelance, he drew comic books for the HQ magazine. Currently works periodically for DC. In 2010 he began to work for Marvel providing the art for the new Wolverine series.

As of March 2013 Renato Guedes will be on art duties for Constantine which is being written by Jeff Lemire and Ray Fawkes.
