Mace Windu

Samuel L. Jackson played Mace Windu in the three films of the Star Wars prequel trilogy (Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith) and voice acted him in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He also voiced the character in Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars video game. And his voice was heard amongst the force ghosts in Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.

Neville Flynn

Samuel L. Jackson stared as Neville Flynn in 2006 movie Snakes on the Plane. The movie received a two issue comic adaptation also named Snakes on the Plane by Wildstorm under DC Comics, where Jackson's likeness was used.

Afro Samurai

Samuel L. Jackson voiced Afro Samurai in the anime of the same name. Jackson reprised the role in the animated film Afro Samurai: Resurrection, where he also served as executive producer. Jackson also took part in the video game Afro Samurai.

Roland Cox

Samuel L. Jackson portrays Roland Cox who hunts down the jumpers in the 2008 movie Jumper. The character also appeared in the prequel comic Jumper: Jumpscars.

Nick Fury

The role of Nick Fury was taken on by Samuel L. Jackson because of his resemblance to the Ultimate universe version of the character. So far Jackson has played Nick Fury in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and The Marvels.

He has also made guest appearances in the television series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., in What If...? and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur animated series. Samuel L. Jackson stared as Nick Fury in the Secret Invasion mini-series.

He has also voiced the character in several video games: Iron Man 2, Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, and Marvel Snap.

The Octopus

In 2008, Jackson starred alongside actors Gabriel Macht and Scarlett Johansson in the Frank Miller-directed film, The Spirit. He played the character of the Octopus, archenemy of The Spirit. The film was loosely based on the Will Eisner series of the same name.
