Sergio made his debut in the early 1990s drawing comic-books and covers for Comics Forum (Spain).
Nowadays, he combines his work in comics with that of conceptual artist in the film world. He has collaborated with Guillermo del Toro on several major films: The Devil’s Backbone, Hellboy, Hellboy II: Golden Army and Pan’s Labyrinth.
He has also worked for top-level international publishers on both sides of the Atlantic: Planeta DeAgostini (Thännhauser limited series), DC Comics (Deus Ex limited series, Superman: DCUO Legends, Batman: Legends of The Dark Knight digital, Uncharted limited series, Arrow digital and others), Random House Mondadori (Ranko Kameran) and Madefire (MONO: Pacific).
Currently, he lives in Barcelona and is enjoying his work more than ever.
