Pacific Comics
Starting out as a mail order retailer in 1971, Pacific Comics became a comic book publisher in 1981 and ceased publishing titles in 1984.
Pacific Comics produced a small number of comic book titles; the most notable being Jack Kirby's Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers and Dave Stevens' The Rocketeer, which originated as a backup story. Other veteran artists whose works appeared included Art Adams and Steve Ditko, amongst others. Publishing rights to several titles were picked up by Eclipse after Pacific Comics went defunct.
