Originally meant to be the story told in Giant-Size Avengers #'5, the story was instead held back and split into two parts and used as fill-in issues of the regular Avengers title. The two-parter interrupts the ongoing Serpent Crown Saga and, due to being written much earlier, features an outdated Avengers roster.
