Allied Nations is a worldwide military organization in the Street Fighter franchise.

In the Brazilian comic, Sawada is the Captain of the Armed Forces of United Nations and collaborates with the Street Fighters in a rescue of Guile and fighting the Shadow Law created by Sagat, Vega and Balrog after the apparent death of M. Bison.

Colonel Guile commands a group to invade Shadaloo, in Southeast Asia overthrow the dictator M. Bison, Bison captured Guile's friend in member of A.N, the Brazilian Capt. Carlos Blanka, among the members of A.N are Lt. Cammy, Sgt. T. Hawk and Capt. Sawada.

Street Fighter

In the episode Keeping the Peace from the animated series shows that Guile was court-martialed and lost the rank of Colonel, Sawada later against him and wins the rank of Colonel, while in the movie, he does not oppose Shadaloo's invasion.

The episode shows that, despite collaborating with the Street Fighters, T. Hawk still holds the rank of sergeant.

Sawada and T. Hawk return in the episode The Hammer Strikes from the second season, Sawada leaves his animosity behind and collaborates with Guile and the Street Fighters.
