Origin

The army of light was founded and established by a group of Jedi Lords, most well known ones being Valenthyne Farfalla and Lord Hoth. It's establishment was because they wanted to prevent the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness from rising to power. This lead to many confrontations on the planet Ruusan against the Brotherhood and their leader, Lord Kaan. The years of war ended when Lord Kaan unleashed the Thought Bomb after being manipulated by Darth Bane. And with the Thought Bomb, almost all of the Jedi and Sith were whipped out.
