Characters
- Future Leonardo - Leonardo from a distant future who founded and runs a ninjutsu school where he is depicted teaching four of his most elite students; Bob, Miles, Carmen, and Nobuko. He also leads a police force called La Costa Nostra.
- Future Raphael - Older and more hard-edged Raphael from an alternate future. He has traveled back in time to help TMNT several times. Future Raph wears an eye-patch to cover his missing eye during a conflict with Shredder and Verminator X.
- Future Donatello - Donatello from an alternate future, who has gained incredible wealth selling his inventions, Namely his upgraded version of Baxter Stockman's Mouser, a object that has caused Donatello to become arch-enemy of the Rat-King. . He is depicted as a pure-hearted soul, being able to pass through the Netherworld unscathed. Don was also chosen by a group of alien scientists known as the Sons of Silence to share their wisdom to him.
- Future Michelangelo - Michaelangelo of an alternate future and is portrayed as an artist who runs an orphanage.
- Nobuko: Great, great, granddaughter of April who also plays an important role as she goes around assisting the Future Ninja Turtles. She also went back in time to attend Slash's funeral, as she respects all of the TMNT, while at Slash's funeral she met her Great-Grandmother, April O'Neil.
- The Mighty Mutanimals - Team of mutant animals led by Ray Fillet who are allies of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Creation
The Future Mutant Ninja Turtles were created by Kevin Eastman & Peter Laird as part of the "Future Shark Trilogy" storyline in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures series. They made their first appearances in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #42 on March 1993.
