The Street Sharks cartoon was made by Mattel to sell their toy line. The Street Sharks aired from 1994 to 1995 and the sharks were later featured in a show of a similar format called Dino Vengers. The show made several references to the Ninja Turtles, although usually in attempt to differentiate the two. One example of this is how the Street Sharks dislike pizza.
