Taung
The orignal species on Corucant, Taung are strong humanoid aliens with a grey skin tone. Warriors by nature they went on to from the Mandalorians, dying out as the years went by. The last Taung Mandalore was Mandalore the Ultimate.

History
The Taung were originally native to the planet Coruscant, in a time that mostly unchronicled. All that is known is that the ancient Taung and the ancient humans battled over Coruscant, with the humans claiming victory, forcing the Taung off world. They eventually claimed Mandalore as their home. They became the first of the warrior people, the Mandalorians.
