The Tribunal
The Tribunal was created to monitor Dethklok. On the surface, it appears that they want to take down Dethklok before they bring about the Metalocalypse - an ancient Sumerian prophecy of an apocalypse of metal. But in actuality, Selatcia, the head of the Tribunal, wants to make sure nothing impedes Dethklok from fulfilling their destiny.

The original Tribunal included Cardinal Ravenwood, until him and General Crozier betrayed Selatcia during the last episode of the first season of Metalocalypse. Selatcia killed Ravenwood for his betrayal, but spared Crozier. The General was too important to Selatcia's plan, so he wiped his mind of the events of that night. Afterward, Vater Orlaag took Cardinal Ravenwood's place at the Tribunal.
