Created by John Byrne, Danger Unlimited was a super team with many shared similarities to the Fantastic Four.
When the world famous Doctor Carson , his sons Connie and Cal and his guide Mike Worley were exposed to a mysterious substance in a crashen alien ship, they gained fantastic powers. They formed a team of adventurers know as Danger Unlimited and had several adventures in the following years.
New Danger Unlimited
However seventy five years in the future after the team had died in a fight a villian knows as the Umbra, the earth had been conquered by the Xlerii, the same aliens of the ship than give Danger Unlimited their powers. However, Thermal (Cal Carson), one of their members survived. After discover the cirscunstances of his world, under Xlerii control, he was joined by C-Ops corporal Teresa LaFayette and Dr Davis Palmenter as a new incarnation of Danger Unlimited, ready to fight the alien invasion.
