Creation

The alien race called the Brallians made their first appearance in the series Adventure Comics 247-The Legion of Super-Heroes. Brallians were created by the team of Otto Binder and Al Plastino.

History

Pre-Zero Hour

The natives of the world of Braal had the natural ability to generate and manipulate magnetic fields. Among their most famous members they are the Legionnaires Cosmic Boy , Magnetic Kid, and Magno. Also the villain who was a former Legion Reject called Magno Lad is also a known Brallian.

Five Years Later

The Brallians were a thriving world in the 30th century and due to the natives abilities to command magnetism whose abilities would be a commercial value. With time however poor relations with other worlds within the United Planets would put fiscal pressure on the populations economics for years to come.
After the collapse of the United Planets Brall was hard hit and the economy came crashing. The Brallians would fine themselves at war with the planet Imsk, ending when the Imskians unleashed a weapon which turned the magnetism powers of the Brallians against them. This was forever known as the battle of Venado Bay. Those near enough to the impact zone explode due to their own powers and those far away were still affected, most if not all losing the use of their powers.

Post Zero Hour

In this reality Brallians are still from a world in which the economy is strained, but not in the crisis as in the former reality. Here however the Brallinas are at war with the denizens of one of Saturn's moons Titan. A famed sport known throughout the United Planets world is Magnoball, pride of all Brallians. The sport consists of an iron ball which is than volleyed between opponents with a point scoring system. This is where the Legionaire Cosmic Boy received his name as he was a favored player in Magnoball circuit.

Notable Brallians

Cosmic Boy: Original founder of the famed Legion of Super-Heroes Cosmic Boy is the most well known Braalian.

Magnetic Kid: the younger brother of Cosmic Boy he was also a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He died while in the line of duty during the Magic Wars.

Magno: Another member of the Legion of Super-Heroes and a hero from the Magno-Ball games. He later lost his magnetic powers.

Magno Lad: A rejected applicant to the Legion of Super-Heroes who was a famous Magnolia-Ball star. He would later become a member of both the Legion Super-Rejects and the Legion of Super-Villians.

Repulse: Fringe member of Braal who would later battle the Legion.

Time Trapper: The future of Cosmic Boy, a terror of the time stream.
