Before World's End, Gen14 had been originally designed to act as breeding stock for their predecessors, Gen13. When Armageddon came however, Tabula Rasa's Cloning Bank Rho was captured by remnants of the US Army who renamed the facility US Army Firebase 11: Post Human Front. The members of Gen14 there were subsequently used for target practice in an endless cycle of death and rebirth through cloning. Only Breakdown was able to retain memories of her previous incarnations, and tried to get her teammates to work together in order to survive their ordeal, but to little avail.

Eventually however, with the aid of Gen13, Gen14 was able to defeat their oppressors and escape their hellish cycle.
