Warhol Fever
One of the many plagues than spread throughout the world after the Armageddon, the Warhol Fever or Warhol Virus is an hemorrhagic and lethal sickness. It was given that name because it gives its victims a brief period of approximately 15 minutes of feral superpowers and berserk rage before they burn out their metabolism and explode, spreading the infection.
The virus was of extraterrestrial origin and traveled through space before coming to Earth during an age when an early race dominated the planet. the virus decimated that race and earlier life forms throughout later history (hinting that it was also responsible for the dinosaurs' extinction). But after the last Ice Age, it lay dormant until Armageddon happened.
