Origin

After working with the Justice League Dark to take down the witch goddess, Hecate, Circe was able to absorb her full power. Thirsty for more, she wanted the Black Diamond of Eclipso, hidden in a vault of magical weapons in the basement of the Hall of Justice. The basement was also the headquarters of the Justice League Dark. So, Circe put together her own team:

• Constantine's rival, Papa Midnite
• The Green connected Floronic Man
• The witch boy, Klarion, and his familiar, Teekl
• The undead powerhouse, Solomon Grundy, decaying after the loss of Nanda Parbat
• Drakul Karfang, the undead dragon whose remains hang in the Hall of Justice as Wonder Woman's trophy
