Created by Maxwell Lord, the Leaguebusters were a team sanctioned by the U.N. to take down the Justice League should they ever go rogue.

When the Overmaster threatened with destroy the earth, he warned world leaders to do nothing if they had a chance. However some members of the recently fragmented Justice League wanted to intervene. To stop them, the UN sent its own new assembled team, the Leaguebusters, under the command of a new Peacemaker, to stop any heroic iniciative by any means possible.
