Les Diaboliques were created by writer James Robinson and artist Cully Hamner. They first appeared in The Shade #1
Major Story Arcs
The Shade
Les Diaboliques are hired by Dudley Caldecott to kill German private detective Will von Hammer. von Hammer manages to dispatch most of the assassins sent after him, and attempts to interrogate the one that remains alive. Before he can reveal more than the first syllable of Caldecott's name, the man explodes due to his damaged rocket-pack. This marks the end of Les Diaboliques.
