Their fighting skill was legendary and they were noted for being valiant combatants. Typically, they were a haughty and obedient which was why simple words would never dissuade them from completing their sworn duty.

During the events of the Great Clash, a vengeful Izaya dispatched teams of flying Monitors to assault the fiery world of Apokolips. They attacked in fierce waves that were relentless in their onslaught. These elite guardians were also summoned to keep the hordes of the Insect Empire in check on their native homeworld of New Genesis. A group of Monitors were dispatched by the Commander to bring Orion before him.
