The Mygorgs were summoned to be the muscle in a war between two groups of priests on the unnamed world that Starfire hails from. They were summoned by one side of the conflict and their natural enemy, the Yorg, was summoned by the other. When the Mygorgs and the Yorg realized they were stronger than their human masters, they rebelled and enslaved them.

Their eternal enemies are the Yorg. Flipping the original arrangement upside down, the Mygorg use their human slaves as muscle and cannon fodder in their war with the Yorg.
