Creation

The Naltorians first appearance were in the pages of Adventure Comics #363, "Black Day for the Legion", December 1967. The Nestorians were created by Jim Shooter, Kurt Swan, and Pete Constanza.

History

Original Continuity: New Earth

The Naltorians are the inhabitants of the world called Naltor which is a civilization during the 31st Century. The denizens of Naltor exhibit a natural psychic ability which allow them to see into future timelines. This precognitive aptitude very to different degrees from person to person with some able to see within moments ahead in time. There is a minute part of the Naltorian population who do not carry the ability to see into the future called "future blind", the Legionnaire named the White Witch is such a non-precog.

The governing body for the Naltorians is the High Seer of Naltor and the High Seer works with regional leaders. The High Seer is chosen dependent on the level of power and skills as a pre-cog. The High Seer can see months ahead in time and vast amounts of future possibilities. The Naltorians are also part of the United Planets which has benefited both economically for the Naltorians and as a warning system for the United Planets due to the pre-cog abilities of the High Seer and the Naltorians themselves.

Notable Naltorians

High Seer of Naltor: This title is given to the leader of the Naltorians and displays the outmost capacity in the pre-cog abilities of any Naltorian at the time. At one time the mother of Dream Girl and White Witch held the position until her death. Since than the elderly Beren Kah hold the position. During the time of the 5 Year Gap Nura Nall the hero known as Dream Girl held the position after Beren Kah's death.

Nura Nal: The Legion of Super-Heroes member and one time leader Dream Girl is a native of Naltor and also the future High Seer. She is also the older sister to White Witch another Legionnaire.

Mysa Nal: The little sister to the hero Dream Girl Mysa grew up as a future blind member of her society. As she grew up she joined Sorcerers World as an apprentice of magic. Her she would emerge as the White Witch and a future Legionnaire.
