From here came the SklarIIan Raiders, a team of female space pirates dedicated to obtaining high tech equipment and looting the member planets of the United Planets as vengeance for what they had brought to their home world. The Raiders next attempted to steal a computer bank which stored research of an experimental life extending serum. They traveled to the Life Institute on an artificial island anchored in the North Sea on Earth. They also raided Techos a biological lab on an asteroid which permanently orbited the earth itself, doing so with a tractor beam from one of their interstellar ships. After various encounters with the Legion of Super-Heroes and disastrous outcomes the government of Sklar and the Sklarian Raiders decided to change their course of actions. However this was not to last as only a few years after joining the United Planets and making peace, the Slkarian Embassy on Earth would be the return to their old ways. In the embassy based in Hong Kong the Sklarian raiders had embarked in smuggling frozen organs off planet. Using the Embassy as a front and having cargo-Bots to load the shipments into their awaiting freighters, no one was aware for months. But the Legion Espionage Squad headed by Chameleon Boy, had been keeping tabs on the Sklarian embassy and found out about the illegal smuggling operation. Transforming into a female Sklarian raider he was able to infiltrate the embassy and with the aid of his fellow Legionnaires stoped the operation. The United Planets would revoke the embassy in Hong Kong and the Sklarian government was but on probationary status.
