Nothing is known about how this team first came together. They occasionally unite to combat evil and deal with magical threats.

Creation

The Spectral Services were created by Grant Morrison and Ryan Sook. They made their first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Zatanna #1.

Major Story Arcs

Seven Soldiers of Victory

All members of the group begin experiencing ominous dreams about the coming Sheeda threat. They unite in Baron Winters' house and conduct a séance. Together, the members of the team enter the Imaginal World seeking the Liber Zatarae. While in the Imaginal World all members of the group, save Zatanna, are attacked and burnt to death by the Gwydion.
