Origins

Composed largely of the runaways and delinquents who had once been members of the Deviants, Team Red was created by Melmoth. When a member of the Deviants turned 16, they were forced through an Erdel Gate to Mars, and enslaved there.

Creation

Team Red was created by Grant Morrison and Doug Mahnke. They made their first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Frankenstein #2.

Major Story Arcs

Seven Soldiers of Victory

Members of Team Red labour to uncover the lost tombs of the Martian emperors, which have been buried on Mars. They finally uncover them, but are attacked by the Red Zombies and driven back and away from the tombs. They revolt against their masters, and are liberated and returned to Earth by Frankenstein.
