Origin

The Decaster Family lived inside of a large manor known as the Decaster House and were led by Lionel Decaster. Lionel forced his wife and children to stay inside the house and never allowed them to leave, making them prisoners within their own home. Eventually the group began to reproduce more members of the family, resulting in deformed children due to the constant inbreeding. The conditions within the house and the mental state of it's inhabitants finally caused one of the Decasters to snap, this resulted in the death of Lionel Decaster at the hands of his granddaughter.

Unfortunately, this was not the end to their suffering. Due to their conditioning over the past several years the family never left the house, even when their food supplies began running low. Instead of finding food elsewhere they resulted to cannibalism and started killing one another off until the final Decaster died inside the home.

The Decaster's continued to live in their home, this time as tortured spirits who haunted any who entered their property.

The Decaster Family was created by Eric Powell for The Goon Color Special.

While many of the Decaster's are left unnamed their roster consists of Lionel Decaster and 9 other Decaster family members.

The Goon Color Special

The Decaster Family decided to haunt The Goon and Franky when they entered the Decaster House in search of hidden treasure. Unfortunately for the Decaster Family, The Goon had been given a magical artifact that allowed him to physically harm spirits/ghosts, which resulted in the death of the family.
