Nightcrawlers
Enlarged irradiated insects that rampage across the American desert.
Origins
After the bombs were dropped during The Unknown War, the radiation caused mutations in the animal kingdom, including the insects and other vermin of North America. The species vary and might not even be fully catalogued, but the most common species is the ant with nearly bulletproof exoskeletons, impressive organization, and rumors of a large queen yet to be identified.
