The Order of the Freeing Fist first appears in an Origin story regarding Cecil Stedman and Brit as Cecil is held hostage and The Order attempts some form of terrorist attack which presumably kills them and severely harms Cecil, the result is the strange scar on his face.

While Cecil is doing work for the same agency he now leads (this being when he was a lower level agent), he learns that The Order of the Freeing Fist had their deaths faked and served as personal guards for the agency leader that Cecil worked for.

Powers

The Order possesses super human strength as they battled Komodo Dragon who is a member of the Lizard League who also possesses super human strength and together were able to easily defeat him. However, soon after, Cecil shot and killed them, so while they were super strong, they did not possess invulnerability.
