Origin

The Runners were founded by Roscoe who was previously in prison after he had been set-up and arrested by the police for drug charges, the team consisted of his girlfriend Rosa, best friend Chevy and Rosa's younger brother Baseball. They used their super powers to rob the immensely wealthy and would even give some of their money to the poor. The team was first formed in MPH #3 but is mentioned in the previous issue.

Creation

The Runners were created by Mark Millar and Duncan Fegredo

Powers & Abilities

All runners were users of the drug MPH and thus had super speed, stamina, endurance and two of them had the ability to time travel, but only when they overdosed on the drug.

Enemies

The teams biggest threat was that of The Department of Extra-Normal Operations, formed by President Ronald Reagan back in the 80s when The President believed that super humans would be a legitimate threat to the world.
