Brief History

In order to have their area clear of any walkers, the residents of The Hilltop struck a deal with Negan and his group. The Saviors would take care of the undead as long as Gregory provided them with half of the supplies The Hilltop would salvage or presumably gather from their trade system with other groups. If a group didn't keep the end of their deal with the Saviors they would often beat someone up, or even worse kill him, as part of a message. Rumor has it that The Saviors have killed thousands of the undead.
