Origin

The Yazatas, Persian gods, or Zoroastrian gods, are divine superhuman god like beings. As their origin supposedly follows, the great creator god Ahura Mazda emerged from the void. Ahura Mazda, light and wise as literally translated, a near all powerful being, who represents truth, order and justice. The opposing force to Ahriman or Angra Mainyu.    
 

Creation

Characters based on Persian and Iranian gods. First known appearance in Giant-Size Conan #1. 
 

Team Evolution 

This team consists of gods that make up the branch of mythology dealing with Zoroastrianism. the Yazatas consist of Ahura Mazda, Ahriman, Atar, Asha, Haurvatat, Armiiti, Mithra, Ameretat and Kshathra Vairya.
