Winkies are citizens of Winkie Country, the western quadrant of Oz. They prefer the color yellow in their landscape and building. They were once ruled by the Wicked Witch of the West until Dorothy Gale killed her with a bucket of water. Their head ruler then become the Tin Woodman.
